Leander is a Danish design company that is specialized in furniture for kids. Their story began in 1998 when owner Stig Leander founded his company in Silkeborg.

It all started with the cradle that Stig designed for his sister-in-law. Her baby had to be able to lay in there safely and be able to see what is going on around them. The floating cradle became a great success, also for Stig’s own company, that currently delivers furniture in over 40 countries.

Growing along with your child

With the extension set for the baby cot, you can extend the length of your baby cot with an extra 30 cm – from 120 cm to 150 cm. This way, it becomes a junior bed and your child can continue to sleep in their familiar bed till they’re about 7 or 8 years old.

Unfortunately, children grow very fast, but you can even transform it into a sofa when it becomes too small for your child to sleep in. It will continue to serve a purpose. Just add some pillows and it can continue to lead a second life.
