Babushka by Wood Luck Design: romantic, refined and refreshingly different
The Babushka collection by Wood Luck Design is made for families who want a nursery or children’s room with more personality than standard furniture. The collection combines a boho-inspired mood with retro shapes, soft colours and delicate details. The refined edging and rounded lines give the furniture its recognisable Babushka look: romantic, warm and playful, without feeling too busy.
Soft colours for a calm nursery
Babushka is available in gentle, natural shades such as white, olive and pink. This gives the collection a calm and harmonious feel, while making it easy to combine with natural accessories, linen fabrics, rattan, wool and wooden accents. The furniture brings atmosphere to the room, while staying quiet enough to create a timeless base that remains beautiful for years.
Beautiful to look at, practical every day
Behind the romantic design, Babushka offers plenty of everyday convenience. The wardrobes provide space for hanging clothes, shelves and drawers, while several pieces include soft-close runners or self-closing hinges. This makes the collection not only stylish, but also comfortable to use in a children’s room where clothes, care essentials, toys and bedding need a practical place.
A collection that grows with your child
Babushka is not only made for the baby stage. The cot is designed with multiple mattress heights and can be used for longer as your little one grows. Pieces such as the changing dresser, wardrobe, bookcase, desk and beds also make it easy to carry the same style from nursery to children’s room. This allows you to build a room step by step that stays practical while keeping its charming look.
The beauty is in the details
What makes Babushka stand out are the details you do not see in every children’s furniture collection: elegant plinths, rounded shapes, a soft retro character and carefully chosen colours. Retailers often describe the collection as charming, romantic, vintage and stylish, with a strong focus on quality and functionality. That balance is exactly what makes Babushka special: furniture that adds atmosphere, while being made for real family life.
