Danish Design
The Danish design brand Filibabba is located in Aarhus, from where it’s serving markets as Scandinavia, Europe and the rest of the World. The owners Christian Bendtsen and Lasse Rolighed Olesen launched their first collection in 2015, a collection with timeless baby and children’s interior products. One of their first products was their babynest, inspired by a Swedish invention. Filibabba redesigned the babynest by using high-quality GOTS certified materials and added some leather accessories to it, to give it a special look.

Filibabba’s design philosophy is timeless and unique! Nordic pastel colours, basic patterns and sustainability inspire both, children and adults. The Air Balloon design came first in the colour nature white, but due to its success Filibabba extended the collection to more Air Balloon pastel colours.

You can use the leather belt to change the size of the babynest and make your child feel even more safe. You can take out the 4 cm thick mattress easily through the zipper closure.

Babies are used to the secure feeling in the womb. A babynest helps to give your baby the same feeling, due to the soft sides. You can use it in the cradle and crib. But you can also place it on the floor or on the sofa to give your little baby a safe place to calm down, relax and fall asleep.

Kapok Babynest

Kapok is known for the healhty and anti-allergy benefits which makes it a perfect material to use in baby products. The kapok filling is moisture-transporting and thus neither dust mites, bacteria or fungal spores can live and multiply in the kapok. In addition, it is free of chemicals, bleaches or other harmful substances that in the long run can contribute to the development of allergies.

Kapok is a natural and organic material that benefits from fresh air every now and then. We recommend putting the product in the dryer for 15-20 minutes every four months or as needed to keep the product fluffy and soft.
