Zen is a Japanese word that simply means “meditation”. Zen also stands for a state of calm self-awareness in where actions are guided by intuition rather than conscious effort. This intuitive action coupled with the calm meditation in the background inspired Laurette to bring out this superb collection.

Laurette brings a children’s room full of designer furniture with the Zen collection. All furniture harmonises perfectly together and gives the children’s room a calming and peaceful atmosphere. As if you were standing in a Japanese Zen garden yourself. Everything is perfectly coordinated and made of outstanding quality according to European standards. From the junior bed with bedside table to the wardrobe and sideboard to the chest of drawers and drawer cabinet, you will find everything you need in your favorite colour.

Everything has a place

Laurette has designed 2 wonderful and calming sideboards for the Zen collection. Both have a modern design made of robust and high-quality materials, which are especially made to provide plenty of storage space for all your child’s things.  The sideboards have a spacious storage area on top for decorations or all sorts of things that you would use in everyday life. Both sideboards have two doors, each covering 2 drawers. One sideboard also has 2 open drawers between the doors, which of course makes the sideboard slightly larger than the other. The sideboards are available in typical boy and girl colours, but there is also a choice of gender-neutral colours. MDF boards are used in the production process, these are made of oak wood from sustainably managed forests (no tree is felled without securing its offspring). The paint used is environmentally friendly as it is water-based: i.e. free from solvents and toxicity. In this way you guarantee your child a healthy and environmentally friendly environment.

One of the special features of Laurette is the huge range of colours. It is not only limited to standard colours, as with conventional manufacturers. There are more exotic colours on offer, with which you can create great combinations. You will bring your children’s room to life guaranteed.
