Danish design in your kid’s room
Leander is a Danish design company that is specialized in furniture for kids. Their story began in 1998 when owner Stig Leander founded his company in Silkeborg. It all started with the cradle that Stig designed for his sister-in-law. Her baby had to be able to lay in there safely and be able to see what is going on around them. The floating cradle became a great success, also for Stig’s own company, that currently delivers furniture in over 40 countries. Leander furniture is both strong and functional, and behind each furniture piece lies a well thought-out vision and great craftmanship. Nowadays Leander delivers a wide variety of products, ranging from baby cots to dressers and from changing tables to high chairs.
Linea Co-sleepers: Safe and cosy near mum and dad
Leander added a new ‘co-sleeper’ to their collection which enables you to sleep close to your baby. The co-sleeper is available in oak, beech and white, and goes very well with the dressers of Leander’s Linea furniture line. With the strap that’s included you can attach the co-sleeper to your own bed. It has a length of 2.5 m that fits most beds, but if you have a box-spring you probably need the longer version of 5 m. The co-sleeper can also be adjusted in height (5 different positions). This enables you to put the co-sleeper at the same height as your own mattress. Your baby will always be close to you and you can feed or nurse it whenever he or she wakes up.
2in1: Co-Sleeper and also a cradle!
If you want your baby to sleep in his or her own room, roll the co-sleeper to the baby room. The slide-door on the side of the co-sleeper can be easily moved up and down. Great during the day, when you don’t need any sleep yourself. Also check out the ‘organizers’, which are perfect when you need things like pacifiers, bottles and cloths in close reach. Very easy to attach to the cradle! You can order them separately and they are available in several shades.
