The Baby & Junior Bed: The star of your child’s bedroom

Your nursery is not complete without a baby cot. Luckily Leander has a baby & junior bed with a timeless Scandinavian design and beautiful crafted details. Mum and dad will also love it. What makes this bed particularly special is that it can be adjusted in height, and thus grows along with your baby. The older your little one gets, the lower you position the base. When it’s time to take the safety fence off, your toddler can still use the bed till about 3 years of age.

The original Leander mattress

The Organic +7 mattress has a coconut coir filling and is specially designed to fit the Baby & Junior Bed. The coconut coir filling has the same effect as thousands of little feathers that spread pressure equally for optimal support. On top of that layers of latex and wool are placed to regulate heat and moisture. Wool also isolates from the cold. The mattress is held together by a cover of 100% organic cotton. No herbicides or pesticides have been used in the production process and the cover is woven in a Herringbone pattern. Very comfortable and luxuriously finished. Two-sided: A baby and toddler side

The Organic +7 mattress is two-sided: one side is optimal for babies, and the other for toddlers. Depending on to the weight of your child you can easily switch them around. The baby side consists of a special air circulation pattern and the toddler side has even smaller ventilation channels. This pattern coincides with the ventilation gaps in the slatted frame.

Extension for the mattress

When converting your Baby & Junior Bed – from baby cot to junior bed – you need an extension for your mattress. For the Leander Organic +7 Mattress we have the Organic +7 extension piece. It extends your mattress to a length of 160 cm.
