It all started with the hanging baby cot that Stig Leander designed when his sister-in-law was pregnant. It became an almost floating construction from one point. Of course, the baby had to be safe, but also be able to participate in the world around him or her. It was a huge success and the beginning of Leander.

Their furniture grows and moves with your child and can be passed on from generation to generation. That is what characterize a real design classic and functionality for us.

Convenient and unique

The Leander baby cradle has a unique design because it’s floating above the ground from a central point. You can attach the cradle to the ceiling with a special hook or hang it from a tripod. This way your baby can look in all directions. If your baby moves, the cradle moves along too. It will remind your kid of rocking on your lap.

Perfect match for your baby cradle are the beautiful cradle sheets from Leander. The sheets are made of soft and organic cotton. They fit around the Leander cradle mattress but also other oval and rectangular 40×80 cm mattresses.
